Cousin time

It only took us four months but we finally took some pictures of Lizzy and Addison together. It's fun watching these two grow up.
They are 8 months apart

Addi weighs just less than Lizzy ( like 7 oz.)

 And Liz is taller
I think they're going to be good friends.

Party Time!

The girls told me that we needed to make a Lizard cake for our lizard and I totally agreed.
We were pretty pleased with how it turned out.
Let the present opening begin

She mostly just want to knock things over and carry packages around
Of course putting things in and out of a bag is always a fun game.
These girls were excited to get a sticker book. (Thanks Caffy)

A toy bind that she can pull around, genius!
She was loving walking around with her helmet on
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU
Smash cake...first taste of cake.
First time having ice cream...she's a total fan.

 Matching birthday skirts

Oh Lizzy you sure make us smile!

Master

We're so proud of our new Master!
It turned out the be a really long evening!

 So excited this day arrived!

Luckily, the refreshments were delicious and a great 10 pm snack.
 "Someday it'll be me!"

We went to the Main Commencement ceremony the next day.
It turned out to be really good and I was glad we stuck it out and made the effort to go even thought we had enough of graduation the night before.

It was a full house and a beautiful day.
They gave out some honorary doctorate degrees.  One of them went William Henry Cosby Jr.
Yup, BILL COSBY was there. My girls couldn't understand why I was so excited. It was BILL COSBY. Seriously, one of my favorite shows as a child. I wanted my parents to name one of my little sisters Rudy!
It was fun to be there in person. We're so proud of Brad and glad we got to take that journey with him.

Cape Cod day 2

We started our day with a tour of the Cape Cod Potato Chip Factory.
Free chips...Yum!

We stopped by this country store that advertised penny candy. They had ONE type of penny candy all the rest was more. (And apparently my girls are democrats :) )

During our lunch stop at the park a balance beam competition ensued.

The little gymnasts couldn't resist

Lizzy did well.
But Grandpa couldn't let her win.

One more beach!
Sometimes Uncle Ryan catches you pretending to be him while people are souvenir shopping.

Natalie is a fan of seafood. (At least octopus and clams).
