Five is Fabulous!

My Natalie has been SO excited about her birthday. She had several exceptions as to what the day would hold for her. I think we managed to make her dreams come true.
First, she keep inviting people to her "party". I hadn't really planned on doing a party then enter in 2 weeks of stomach flu at our house and it was definitely out of the question.  Instead we invited a bunch of friends to join us at the park for a play-date. (I suggested we bring the cake to share but that was out of the question. "The cake is for after dinner!")

We had a great time at the park. Such a nice day outside.

Natalie LOVES LOVES the movie Frozen and wanted Frozen things for her birthday. (Do you know how difficult they are to find?!) We ordered the DVD to give her. She really really wanted an Elsa dress-up. With the supply and demand issue I decided the only thing to do was to make one. (I'm a poor excuse for a seamstress but with my sister-in-law's help and a few phone calls to my sisters and Mom I was able to make it happen.)
It helps to have friends in a different state. My friend, Cathy, was able to find Elsa, Anna, and Kristoff dolls at her Target. (I checked online daily and made more then one trip to stores in search of these dolls to no avail.)
So excited about these dolls

Counting her birthday money from Grandma and Grandpa

 It's an Elsa Dress!

 It was immediately put on.

 A Frozen book

I love how you can see her smile behind the crown
 This is so great

Lizzy's  been pulling this face a lot lately....I love it!

 Birthday success!

Camille has requested an Elsa dress-up for her birthday now too. Looks like I've got four months to make it happen again.

Of course, the cake had to be a Frozen cake. Natalie said she wanted a blue cake with white snow and Elsa and Anna on top. (Which got amended to just Anna because I could not find an Elsa) Natalie wanted to help put on the "snow" and "snowballs". We had fun decorating her cake together.

When getting her all tucked in for the night she told me what a great day she had. "Best birthday ever!"

The Liz at 10 months

At 10 months Lizzy has 3 teeth (Now she has for but as of her 10 month birthday there were only three). She likes to wave hi and bye. She'll slap you five. She cruises the furniture and pushes our little red chair around while "walking" behind it.  She gives the best cuddles and like you to hand her whole bananas, not pieces.

And apparently loves this tape.
"Hey that's my tape!"
"See, I need it."
"Where'd it go?"
"EHHH give it BACK!"

"That's better."

"You know just how to make me smile."

Life of the fourth

When you have older siblings there's some things you have to put up with. (This coming some someone who has older siblings and IS an older sibling ☺.) Things like:

1. When your older sisters decide you need some extra fringe on your outfit.
(We seriously love these Magiclip dolls. The dress are interchangeable on the dolls and work great on baby sisters.)

 2. When you're nine months old and its the first time Mom has busted out the heirloom jumper.
 (Which, of course, you love!)
3. They barricade you out of the room to save their farm animals.

 4. They eat all the delicious maple coated cinnamon rolls at Maple fest.

But these are all things you happily put up with because you love you big sisters!
