Hello Summer!

Summer is here. It's finally warm. School is out. Picnics are happening.

So, Camille and I busted out the polish and our sandals. We're ready to party!

Worth the money

We bought a year pass to Tautphaus Park Zoo. I decided it's well worth the money. We've already been 4 times this season. My Dad even came with us once. (First time in roughly 40 years. I'm not exaggerating.) Plus with our pass we can get into other zoos free i.e. the Honolulu Zoo. (Yes, we'll will be using that one!)

Valerie gave Camille a quiz to see how these trips to the zoo have been affecting her.

Breakfast the BK way

We're not talking Burger King. Brad and Karen have combined their powers and perfected breakfast at their house.

All I have to say is yum!

Blessing Day

We blessed Natalie today during church. When we blessed Camille we just did a private family blessing on a Saturday night so this was a fun experience for me. She looked SO cute in the beautiful dress my mama made her! Since it was such a nice day we had a great picnic type lunch with everyone at Brad's parents.

Here are a million pictures!

This one just makes me go "ahhh"

My Grandma Hart use to say that if a baby sleep with their hands up that they were healthy and happy.

I really love this dress!

For some reason it was really hard to get a good family picture. Not the photographer's fault more the subjects!

One proud Mama

Happy to be with Grandma and Grandpa W

Looks like she's trying to act like a little bunny or something

Well it's about time!

Natalie's cord FINALLY fell off. I'm so happy to be able to give her a real bath! I can't believe it took 4 weeks. I don't know why she was so attached to it. (hehehe... attached to it!) She must have just been waiting because she didn't have anything else to give me for Mother's Day.Yeah, for joining the belly button club!

SOFTY

Doggie update:

NO, we did not keep the dog, but I let Camille out to play with him.
I told her that she couldn't touch him because he was dirty from laying in the mud.

She was good at saying "No doggie, no touch"

What a funny little girl.

THERE'S A SNAKE IN MY BOOT....

OH WAIT...
I mean a cow in my yard.
Too bad I try to be an honest person otherwise, Brad and I would be having some fat juicy steaks tonight :) (I haven't had a chance to shoot his 300 Win Mag yet, I'm pretty sure that's a shot I could make.)

P.S. Why do stray animals like my yard? This guy showed up last night and won't go away. He thinks he is our guard dog and sits on the porch and barks at the cows. (Which may come in handy if they keep getting in our yard.) He's cute and Camille loves watching him out the window but we're not keeping him. If I knew where he came from or that he didn't have any diseases I'd let Millie play with him but for now it's a relationship through the glass.
