Cape Cod

We decided to take a few days and spend them on Cape Cod in celebration of Brad's Graduation.
We rented a house and had Ryan, Tara, Ron, and Donna come with us. Poor Donna had broken her foot 2 weeks before but she was a trooper.
We were excited to explore the Cape and spent the first day driving all the way up to the tip, Provincetown.
We stopped a lot along the way.

First beach stop in Harwick.
(I love Camille in the background. Karate Kid anyone?)
Awesome sand, lots of seashells to collect
and a Natalie, who when I asked her not to get too wet responded, "I JUST can't help it."
Lizzy was not excited for her first walk on the beach.

Next stop, Chatham. This lighthouse is an active coastguard lighthouse.
The next beach stop the girls begged to go swimming. It wasn't quite what I would call warm enough but it didn't hold them back.

Tara agreed with me
(See winter coat at the beach)
Love watching the girls play with Brad.

The waves were chasing her...

Make sure you get nice and sandy so we have to spray you off with cold water.

We finally made it up to Provincetown and squeezed in two more lighthouse
We wanted to go up in this Pilgrim monument tower but it was closed.
Wood End and Long Point

We walked out on the breakwater
The girls all wanted to put their hands through the rock.
We wrapped up our day eating at a restaurant run by a cute old Greek couple.

11 month Lizzy

At 11 months Miss Lizzy is taking steps, has 5 teeth, drinks well out of a cup, loves a little stuffed Yellow duck, is quick to smile, likes to put things in and out of containers.

And will not hold still for pictures!

Spring Break / Easter

During spring break we had a lot of fun.
There were outdoor lunches
(indoor if you're a Liz)

Playing outside
(watching from inside if you're a Liz)

Stumps short and
tall are great pretend houses for your toys.
(This is a great pretend house if you're a Liz.)

I didn't feel up to helping the girls decorate hard boiled eggs so we improvised and decorated paper eggs.
(The girls loved it. They colored and cut to their hearts content.)
They did talk me in to making bunny butt cookies
 Easter Morning
Pleased with their baskets. They commented on how nice of hand writing the Easter bunny has, which made me smile. Camille said next year she needs to leave a thank you note for the Easter Bunny because he's so thoughtful.
Emmie's face in these pictures kill me.
First Easter (If you're a Liz)!
She carried her socks around all day.
I love these girls in matching dresses.

Last day of spring break was spent playing with the neighbors grandson
 dressing up (surprised?)
and wrapped up with a movie.
We enjoyed our spring break and can't wait until it's summertime!
