Round 4 Favorite things...

WEEDS...

(No not weed!) The weeds in my backyard are in bloom this time of year. I know that's a little funny but I like how they look. Granted in a few weeks they'll die, become prickly, and I'll have to start mowing them. But for now I like how they make my dirt patch look.

Playing with the Camera

I'm discovering that my camera has some cool features. (I've only had it 3 years so I'm just getting to reading the manual:)

Watch Mil Do...

Mil is good at listening. She discovered clapping on her own but is very good about doing if she hears "YEEAAHHH". Oh my little Mildew is just getting so big.

May flowers...

...Yeah maybe in June.

Okay May 1st I wake up to snow. I know a lot of my blog has been about it snowing and then snowing again. I promise to leave this subject but I just have one last thing to say about it.

Oxy Moron?

Does it seem strange that a washing machine needs to be washed?
(Okay, I've actually used this setting a number of times. Perhaps I'm an ox and a moron.)

Favorite Thing #3

When it DOESN'T snow on April 24th. There should be some law against having snow falling from the sky this late in the year. At least, there is going to be a new episode of The Office on tonight. Brad and I can stay home and cuddle up by the fire! (Which is nice in December but lame in mid-April.)

Spring has sprung..

Spring has sprung, the grass has riz.

Gee, I wonder what all this white stuff is!
This is no joke. Yesterday it was 68 degrees and today Camille and I came up from playing downstairs and this is was we saw!

"Who has teeth?"

Recently, Camille and I have taken to reading THE TOOTH BOOK almost daily. I was sure Mil was starting to work on some teeth and I figured she needed some education about her soon to be pearly whites. It's a good thing too because yesterday a tooth came through.

Some important lessons we learned from this book:

-Teeth make it possible to eat yummy things.
"Clams have no teeth," says Pam the clam. "I cannot eat hot dogs or ham." "No teeth at all," says Pam the clam. "I cannot eat roast leg of lamb. Or peanuts! Pizzas! Popcorn! SPAM! Not even huckleberry jam!"

-We need to take care of our teeth.
"and...don't be dumb like Mr. Glotz. Don't break your teeth untying knots! And don't be dumb like Katy Klopps. Don't try to chew off bottle tops!"

To top it all off Mil accompanied me to the dentist today so I could have a filling fixed. She thought the dentist looked silly with the mask on his face. I reminded her, "And never bite your dentist when he works inside your head. Your dentist is your teeth's best friend. Bite carrot sticks instead!"

Question.

How many acorns do you think Mil could fit in her cheeks?
Fact: I don't know, but I bet it's a lot!
