Three months old

Three months come and gone. I miss my little newborn (*sniff* )but I love this healthy little baby.

According to my scale she's 13.2 lbs. Meaning she's gained 6.2 pounds in the last 3 months. Go Lizzy. (Unfortunately I'm gaining with her. Six pounds in the last 3 months for me too... not how it's suppose to be working!)

I have started to coo. It's so cute. My sisters tell people I say "whoo whoo" like an owl.

  I totally like my tummy time.

Central Park

There's so much to explore in Central Park!

We enjoyed the conservatory gardens

Camille thought it was funny to "feed" these birds (?)

Loving the lily pads

Pays to be two years old. When you get tried you can get a piggy back. And if you have a sweet Ergo carrier you don't even have to hold on. 

If there are rocks these kids will jump and climb on them.

A trip to the city wouldn't be complete without a ride on the subway.

I hope Camille's last day as a five year old was memorable.

Bronx Zoo

Welcome to the Bronx Zoo

Luckily, for us the zoo wasn't too busy and we didn't have to fight crowds. I think we had two things working in our favor, one the it was rainy in the morning (but had stopped when we got to the zoo) and two it a Friday.

We found birds' nests,

Prairie Dogs,

Cute babies,

Old logs,

Big spiderwebs,

A bumblebee,

A Tortoise,

A Desert Fox,

A midge fly,

A butterfly,

and a carousel that featured bugs instead of horses.

Nothing like a day at the zoo. We were glad we were able to go with our friends, the Barzees.

Celebrating 150 years

To celebrate 150 years of Racing in Saratoga Springs there was a Floral Fete and Ice Cream Social in Congress park.  We enjoyed the parade then headed to the park.

Nothing like free Stewart's ice cream. They were generous helpings.
