2ish more weeks

Today marks 2 weeks until I'm due. But we'll have to just wait and see when this baby decides to actually come. I figured it was probably time to take and post some belly shots.

Really, I was just going to throw up one picture but after I asked Camille to help take them I figured you'd need to see the play by play.

"Okay you're just going to push this button...click...AFTER you can see me on the screen."

"Camille can you see me?" "...Uhhhh...."

"Now point it up a little..."

"Move your finger off the little light."

Obviously, this time I was the weakest link!

Your mission...

...if you choose to accept it. Name the baby!
Come up with a girl's name by combining our names. Karen and Brad (or Bradley).

There are a few ways to accomplish this:

1. Combine Syllables
Taking whole syllables is an easy way to create interesting names. For example, John + Andrea could make Jondra, Annon, Andran, Joan, Joanne, Ondra etc. Play with spellings as well as sounds. For example, would Jondra look better than Johndra?

2. Combine letters
There aren't many syllabic possibilities of you have short names. For example, Jane and mark would get you Jark or Mane...not very nice names! you can play around with letters as well. For example, Jane + Mark would get you Maran, Jana, Kara, etc.

3. Probably a combination of the above two would work best
Since names aren't perfect, a creative combination of letters, syllables, and anything else would probably work best.

Can't wait to see what you come up with!

She might be a contender for America Idol...

Natalie really picked up on Christmas songs this year.
Here's her rendition of Away in a Manager. She sings this (loudly) all the time. My favorite is listening to her when I've put her down for a nap or to bed, she'll sing it to her baby doll.

She also takes requests...

As long as she was preforming I figured I'd get as much on video as possible.

Pay it forward!

Pay It Forward 2011. I will send something handmade to the first 5 people to comment on this post. To be eligible you must also post this on your blog, offering the same to 5 other people. Items will be delivered sometime in 2011.
Ready, Set, GO!!!!

It's winter time

We finally got our first real New York snow. It's snowed once or twice since we've been here but never more then a skiff and then it never stayed for more then a day. Yesterday it finally started to snow and we woke up to over a foot of the white stuff. After breakfast we bundle up and headed out.

Don't put me down!
