In loving memory....

...of Howard P. Wilding! You were a good truck. I'll miss you...sniff. Be good to your new owners they seem like nice people. (Okay apparently I don't have that many pictures of you but that doesn't mean you weren't loved.)

We are now a truckless family...kinda sad. We'll get a truck sometime. I'm not sure was the P stands for it just always sounded good.

My best memory of Howard was when we were younger and all the smith boys and the wilding boys were hunting. We came across a few poor deer on the run and it was kind of a drag race to get within shooting distance. Of course we didn't worry about safety issues in those days, so there were all the boys in the back of Howard and my dads old ford racing across the desert after deer. We finally came to a stop and my dad skids up to the right side of Howard and apparently was real close cause when he jumped out he got wedged in between the two trucks and there he stayed until the shooting(which was probably what WW2 was like) was done! I miss those days. I think that was the same trip that Scott wanted to take a shot at a deer from like 3 miles away! Ha!
