The Fun Ship

I suppose it's time for cruise details and pictures. We left on Saturday the 13th and heading to Utah where we dropped Mildew off with my sister, Lisa's family and Bret and Audrey left Alli with cousin Jennifer. We headed to Mapleton and stay the night at my brother Gus's house. It was a blast. My niece Rebekkah put on a harp recital for us (very impressive) then Brad, Gus, Bret, and Audrey went to play handball while the rest of us watched the movie Chocolat and ate fudge.

Sunday after some of church we headed for California. We, of course, had to stop in Vegas for a buffet and to drive down the strip (Bret had never seen Vegas so we thought what a great Sunday activity). It took about 10 hours to get from Utah to San Diego. We were all ready for that car ride to end!

Monday we stopped to see the San Diego Temple before boarding the boat. It's awesome. Unfortunately it was Monday so the grounds were closed.
Let the cruise began:
Monday- We left San Diego at 4:00 pm headed for Mexico
Our boat - Elation
Tuesday - We had a full day at sea. Which of course involved lots eating. :)
Our dinner group and waiters

Wednesday - We spent the day Cabo San Lucas. We went snorkeling, had authentic Mexican food, and shopped.

Thursday-Another full day at sea. Okay we didn't just eat there was mini golf, volleyball, shows, trivia games, slot machines, and much more. Every night your bed was turned down, there were chocolates, and a new towel animal.

Friday - We were in Ensenada. We took a real Mexican taxi to La Bufadora, the blowhole. Then of course more shopping. I'll tell you those Mexicans are great sales people. They'd have an item bagged and ready for you before you even knew you wanted it!

Saturday - Debarkation and then the drive back to Utah. And so the trip ends

Apparently, Camille needed a vacation from us too. She didn't seem to care that we left and had a blast with her cousins, who taught her how to fold her arms. Yeah for good influences! Yeah for my awesome family for being willing to watch her for a week!
