"Who has teeth?"

Recently, Camille and I have taken to reading THE TOOTH BOOK almost daily. I was sure Mil was starting to work on some teeth and I figured she needed some education about her soon to be pearly whites. It's a good thing too because yesterday a tooth came through.

Some important lessons we learned from this book:

-Teeth make it possible to eat yummy things.
"Clams have no teeth," says Pam the clam. "I cannot eat hot dogs or ham." "No teeth at all," says Pam the clam. "I cannot eat roast leg of lamb. Or peanuts! Pizzas! Popcorn! SPAM! Not even huckleberry jam!"

-We need to take care of our teeth.
"and...don't be dumb like Mr. Glotz. Don't break your teeth untying knots! And don't be dumb like Katy Klopps. Don't try to chew off bottle tops!"

To top it all off Mil accompanied me to the dentist today so I could have a filling fixed. She thought the dentist looked silly with the mask on his face. I reminded her, "And never bite your dentist when he works inside your head. Your dentist is your teeth's best friend. Bite carrot sticks instead!"
