Sticks and Stones may break my bones....

It's amazing what a little competiton can do to people. Yesterday, Easter Sunday, we were at my parents house playing a friendly game of dominos when my mother, yes my mother, called me a name I'd never heard before. "YOU ROTTEN, TROTTEN, DISCONNECTED SEWER PIPE!" When asked were she learned such language she replied, "School." I won't do the math for you but it's been many years since this eighteen time grandma attended elementry school. Being an educator, I guess it's nice to see that some of our early education always stays with us. For all you that are wondering, she ended up winning the game.

Moral of the story, name calling has nothing to do with the outcome of a competition. Or does it?

Myrns is CRUEL! I can picture her saying that. I'm preparing to use that ASAP, it's kind of long though, I might have to practice.

When Carmen and I were dating, Myrna shook her fist in front of my face and exclaimed "yes" when she beat me some game I wasn't really into.
